Her mother birthed another filly 4 years after Keavy was born, very light of coat but born prematurely and burnt.
This brought her mother to shame and emotionally distraught, she took a stroll with two of her darker coated friends to talk but Keavy followed unbeknownst to Ivilynne.
Her mother neared the border on the day of a Blackwood raid, and what's worse was the presence of lions.
General Chamon, Keavy's father, barely saved his daughter from the predators but was too late before Blackwoods had already taken his mate and two of her dark coated friends.
Keavy was left scarred and confused, both her and her father broken and haunted by the experience.

-The Pheonix Chapter 2 - 'Through The Fire' | Late Summer ~ Keavy travels to BW and meets the rebel stag Korugo, who uses his magic to alter her memories.
-The Phoenix Chapter Two Part Two | Mid-Autumn ~ Korugo returns her to the borders of ST to test his grip on her mind, but things go horribly wrong when they encounter Monte. Midst the confusion, Keavy flees black to BW.
-The Phoenix Chapter 3 - 'Burning Descent' | Beginning Winter ~ Keavy collapses in BW and becomes aware of the black magic manipulation. Realizing she needs to find those fabled to possess light magic, an unlikely stranger approaches her.
-The Phoenix Chapter 4 - 'To Ashes' | Beginning Winter ~ Keavy is approached by Kerras, who agrees to lead her towards the princesses.
